Minyon Falls is one of the hinterland’s most famous waterfalls. Plunging more than 100 meters over jagged cliffs to the gorgeous green pools below, beckoning you to dive on in. Located in Nightcap National Park, Minyon falls can be visited at night.

Killen Falls comprises a large swimming hole on Emigrant Creek with a 10m waterfall at one end. There are some deep sections and many submerged rocks, and shallower areas. The stone has been eroded significantly behind the waterfall, forming an impressive cave, and it is possible to sit back well behind the falls in the shade without getting wet. This is one of the remaining stands of intact Big Scrub rainforest in this area. Located at Killen Falls Drive, Tintenbar. 30 minutes drive from Byron Bay Real Estate Agency.

- Viewing Platform: the viewing platform is an easy 700m return walk from the car park.
- Base: The base of the falls is accessed via a Grade 3, 1km return walk. The track is quite steep in sections, so wear proper hiking shoes.
Named for the 1970s Terenia Creek protests, responsible for saving this part of the pristine rainforest, Protestors Falls is nestled in the ranges of Nightcap National Park. This is a World Heritage Listed Walking Track and weaves through the magnificent landscape before arriving at the waterfall and a beautiful picnic area. Located Terania Creek Road, Nightcap National Park, The Channon, they are about 1hr 20mins drive from Byron Bay Real Estate Agency. If your hiking The Protestors Falls walking track is 1.4km return and takes approx. 1.5hrs. The track is an easy Grade 3, ideal for families. Pack your swimmers.
